I am excited to share that Global Mass Transit is organising the fourth annual conference on Transit Ticketing & Fare Collection MENA 2024 on September 10-11, 2024 in Dubai, UAE.

The mission of 2024 edition is to discuss key emerging trends, the potential of contactless payments and the experience so far, role of smart ticketing in building smart cities, recent developments, different fare media options including contactless smartcards, mobile ticketing and bank cards, and future plans of transport authorities to deploy advanced fare media. It will also discuss challenges pertaining to technology choice (open-loop or closed-loop), stakeholder management, project delivery, financing models, etc., and potential solutions to these challenges. The conference will also explore the role and impact of data, integration of fare payments with new mobility providers, and the concept of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS). It will also highlight global best practices and showcase new technologies.

We are offering a 30 per cent “early bird” discount on the participation fee until June 29, 2023. To register, click here.

The discounted fee is USD1,050 for one participant, USD1,680 for two, USD2,310 for three and USD2,940 for four.

There is a special low fee for public transport authorities (PTAs), operators and government authorities. The “early bird price” for government authorities will be USD400 per delegate until June 29, 2023.
