Background

The SABOA Rustenburg Bus Industry Connect is a one-day engagement designed to unite the public and private transport sectors under one platform for strategic dialogue and collaboration. The initiative is spearheaded by the Southern African Bus Operators Association (SABOA) in partnership with the Rustenburg Local Municipality, Yarona Rustenburg, and the Transport Forum.

This engagement comes at a pivotal time when the transport industry is undergoing transformation, digitisation, and sustainability shifts. It seeks to connect bus operators, government officials, OEMs, and key transport stakeholders to exchange insights, identify challenges, and foster synergies that can accelerate growth and inclusivity within the public transport system.
